In autumn 2021, psych band Black Arches entered the Old Town Studio, Hastings to rehearse and improvise tracks for an upcoming live performance. This is a recording of that studio session, played live, with no overdubs. Pummelling drums, propulsive bass lines and searing guitars drive these 8 monolithic slabs of heavy motorik psych, with undertones of dub, overlayed with spiralling synth noise and fiercely political vocals.

This album features classic Black Arches songs that were performed live between 2018 and 2022, plus new tracks invented on the spot and never heard... until now.
